Women's Wellness and Preventative Health ProgramHelping women reach their optimum health potential with a comprehensive health program tailored to their specific life stage, health history, symptoms, and potential risk factors.

Our Wellness Assessment is customized to fit the needs of active women from reproductive age through their post-menopausal years. All of our services are designed to help women achieve optimum health balance and lead healthier lives with peace of mind. To create a lifelong healthcare program for women, we have designed a patient-centred approach to healthcare, providing the most innovative techniques available in Canada.

Centred on you

Women want to stay healthy, live longer and retain their energy and vitality. Women’s health needs and concerns can vary from men’s: from their bones, breasts, and hearts, to their reproductive systems, and hormonal balance. A personalized and comprehensive medical assessment can address these unique requirements. The goal of the women’s wellness program is to identify medical concerns and problems early, when disease is most easily prevented and managed.

The program is customized to address the unique concerns of each life stage.

Reproductive Age

Women in the reproductive age group have diverse needs in terms of their health and wellness. Our program offers an array of health services based on personal needs and life goals, including contraceptive counselling, pre-conception counseling, and early pregnancy care. There is a strong focus on preventative health, including cancer screening and cardiovascular risk assessment. IUD insertion is also available.

Peri-Menopause/Menopause

Peri-menopause is the term used to describe a woman’s transition from her reproductive years into menopause. It can begin as early as a woman’s late 30s and it may last a number of years. During this time, women experience irregularity of their menstrual cycles and fluctuation of hormone levels. These natural changes can lead to many debilitating symptoms including hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, weight gain, depression, incontinence, vaginal dryness and decreased sex drive. We work with clients to manage these mental and physical concerns in a holistic, patient-centred approach with all of the resources and services of a state of the art medical facility.

Post-Menopause

Once a woman transitions into her post-menopausal years, she may continue to be affected by Peri-Menopausal symptoms. During this stage, the risk of certain diseases, including osteoporosis, heart disease, and some forms of cancer, increases. For these women we focus not only on symptom management, but on proper screening, preventative health, and risk factor modification to help patients achieve their optimum health.
